Historical Societies, take your place in history!

CCM can support local, state and regional initiatives in historical preservation and heritage tourism. CCM provides the preservation, history and tourism communities with a unique set of tools to expand opportunities to connect with potential visitors as well as the neighborhoods that share historical settings. Active civic involvement is fostered by eliciting interactive commentary, personal perspectives, historical research and folklore contributions, and even snapshot submissions through a familiar (Google) map interface. Web-enabled public education and awareness of historic sites can garner the support and fascination of a new generation of preservation enthusiasts.
